Hot Fuzz (Screenplay) by Edgar Wright and Simon Pegg
This is one of my personal favourite films, which will be, to say the least, a challenge to put on as a reading! It is the second of a trilogy of films written by Wright and Pegg entitled ‘Three Flavours Cornetto Trilogy’ (Shaun of the Dead and The world’s End are the other two). There are loads of parts, so I hope we get a good number of people coming along to this one. ‘I always wanted to be a Policeman-Officer’.
A Message from the organiser Chris Gill
We have established a tradition of reading a play once a month at the Marine Theatre, which is kindly providing the venue free to support community drama. We have a small group of regular attenders and we are always pleased to welcome new people, whether they want to read or just listen. The selection for July to September is varied and exciting as usual and driven by the suggestions of our regular attendees. If you want to go on our circulation list or have any questions about the meetings, please contact Chris Gill through the Marine Theatre.
Please note the readings are not always on the same day of the week and are not always equally spaced out.
Please remember to bring with you a paper or screen copy of the script if you wish to read. We are not able to provide copies.
