Headliner: Mike Wozniak
Mike Wozniak is a comedian and writer best known for playing Brian in Man Down (Channel 4) and as one of the contestants on series 11 of Taskmaster (Channel 4), after which life was never quite the same.
Writing credits include series three and four of Man Down, all four series of Small Scenes (BBC Radio 4) and a one-off physical comedy for Sky Arts entitled Ruby Robinson which starred Kim Cattrall alongside a troupe of acrobats from across Europe. He also wrote and directed the short film Sump, starring Gemma Whelan, Daniel Rigby and Jeany Spark, which was selected in competition for numerous film festivals around the world including Palm Springs International Film Festival, PÖFF Estonia and Calgary International Film Festival and which won a clutch of awards including the Special Jury Prize at the Amsterdam Film Festival.
Other TV credits include Would I Lie To You (BBC One), We Are Not Alone (Dave), Horrible Histories (CBBC), It’s Kevin (BBC Two) and many more. Film credits include Prevenge and Timestalker (both directed by Alice Lowe).
Mike isn’t averse to making podcasts and alongside Benjamin Partridge and Henry Paker makes the cult hit Three Bean Salad Podcast. He also created the St Elwick’s Neighbourhood Association Newsletter Podcast to critical acclaim and is a regular performer on The Beef and Dairy Network Podcast.
As a stand-up Mike has been a comedy festival regular for many years and has penned numerous solo shows. His debut, eponymous stand-up show was nominated for Best Newcomer at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in 2008 and in 2013 his show Take The Hit was nominated for Best Show. Most recently he took his one-man show Zusa on a sell-out tour across the UK and Ireland.
Mike will soon return to Channel 4 as a co-host of Junior Taskmaster alongside the preeminent Rose Matafeo.

Mel Owen, dubbed “unapologetically cheeky” (The Live Review), “obviously multi talented” (Ed Fringe Review) and “one to watch” (The Scotsman), is an award-winning comedian with multiple competition wins and a sell-out Edinburgh Fringe run under her belt.
She has performed at the Netflix Is A Joke festival (Los Angeles), with critics pinning her as “a fiery, unforgettable performer”. Mel spent 2024 as tour support for Welsh comedy icons Kiri Pritchard-McLean and Elis James.
Mel has script writing credits on Netflix, Radio 4, BBC One and Channel 4.
