Veronica and Max do Americana with conviction playing acoustic blues, ragtime, vaudeville and jug band music from the 20s and 30s - on ukulele, washboard, kazoo, and guitar. Their music maybe vintage but oozes contemporary cool.

Max de Bernardi is an accomplished guitarist and singer. Veronica Sbergia plays a mean washboard and ukulele, stamping her feet to percussive effect.

Their passion for this musical heritage is best heard on their CD, Old Stories for Modern Times. The album covers American popular music from the early years of the last century.

Veronica and Max live in Italy but regularly perform in the USA and Europe.  

Their trio, ‘Veronica & The Red Wine Serenaders’, won the coveted European Blues Challenge in 2013. They also represented Italy in the International Blues Challenge in Memphis.
