Wendy Allen is regarded as one of the finest female saxophonists in the UK. In addition to her work with the Jazz Hoppers she also directs her own 8 piece jazz funk fusion band Spiral and performs regularly with her jazz outfit Coco Jazz. She has previously worked with the renowned 1970s group ‘Odyssey’, and with ‘Apart From Rod’, a group featuring three of Rod Stewart’s original band members.

Sagat Guirey has been playing the guitar and banjo for over thirty years, in many different styles. He was classically trained in London, then later studied jazz guitar, composition and arranging in Los Angeles, and gypsy jazz with Lollo Meier in The Netherlands. He has composed music for film, and TV, and has worked with many artists including violinist Nigel Kennedy.

The Jazz Hoppers Duo play a set full of fun and toe tapping songs, such as Royal Garden Blues, After You’ve Gone, and Tiger Rag.
