Wes Montgomery played with many of the jazz greats, including vibraphone maestro Lionel Hampton and virtuoso organist Jimmy Smith. Among his own compositions are West Coast Blues and Four on Six, and he had many hits with pop songs like California Dreaming and Eleanor Rigby, which won him a Grammy award. He remains much admired by guitarists today, with Pat Metheny praising his album “Smokin’ at the Half Note” as “the absolute greatest jazz guitar album ever made”

Jesse Molins is a fine guitarist with strong jazz credentials. He works regularly with the renowned composer and band leader Mike Westbrook and has also played with Alan Barnes. He has performed at top class jazz clubs including Ronnie Scott’s, and major concert venues such as Kings Place.
