Julian Deane has been wowing audiences across the country with his genius punch lines and perfect delivery.

Julian was recently seen performing on Russell Howard’s Hour and supporting Paul Chowdhry on the mammoth nationwide tour Live Innit.

His witty writing skills have also been put to use on Matt Forde’s Unspun (Dave Channel), which he wrote on in 2016.

In late 2018, Julian and fellow comedian Carl Donnelly started the podcast Two Vegan Idiots which is soon to be followed by live dates across 2019.

“Deliciously twisted… a stream of seriously good gags… quick, sharply written and endlessly repeatable lines”~ The Guardian

“It’s just a matter of time before Julian Deane gets a boost up the comedy rankings… His trick is to make you think you’re watching standard stand-up fare, then twisting expectations with sharp, original punchlines” ~ The Independent

“Assured and brilliant… Deane is a class apart… a master of hilarious twists and turns”~ Chortle

A Comedy-Store favourite, Badran has performed his signature off-beat and observational stand-up across the globe and is heralded as one of Australia’s rising stars in comedy.

Badran has performed two solo shows, Raised and Confused (2015) and Junior (2016), at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival and is a common feature at many of Australia’s comedy festivals.

In 2017, Badran created the Comedy Central Australia/NZ Tv show, No Experience Necessary, and has been awarded the ‘Best International Guest Comedian’ by the New Zealand Comedy Guild in the same year.

“This is uncomplicated comedy in its purest form. We’re talking embarrassing, stomach-hurting, weeping kind of laughter” – ★★★★★ Broadway World

Simon Lomas, whose socially awkward ungainly comic style, is referred to as one of comedies most refreshing and promising stand-ups. And his unique delivery and hilariously honest jokes are only part of what makes up Lomas’s distinctive style.

Already making a name for himself in comedy, performing alongside Bobby Mair, Phil Wang, Patrick Monahan, and Justin Moorhouse, Lomas won the Petfringe Comedian of the Year in 2018, having previously been a finalist at the English Comedian of the Year in 2017.

 “Imaginative, delightful wordplay” Chortle

“Sharp and solid joke writing” The Skinny
