Jess was nominated for The Dave Edinburgh Comedy Award ‘Best Show’ for her show Hench, in 2019 which has since had a sold out, international tour. She has since appeared on Live at the Apollo, QI and Harry Hill’s Clubnite. As an actor she starred in feature films Greed and Official Secrets, Dawn French’s The Trouble with Maggie Cole on ITV, Sharon Horgan’s Motherland on BBC 2 and is an episode guest lead in Series 5 of Cuckoo on BBC and Netflix.
She hosts her own podcast Hoovering all about eating which in less than a year has racked up nearly half a million downloads.
Jess is a regular co-host of behemoth podcast The Guilty Feminist and is all set to host a brilliant new podcast from the same producers in 2019 called X, Y, Z Boom.
She’s also been the regular host for several years now of BBC R4 Extra’s Comedy Club in the closing hours of weeknights

Markus Birdman is one of British comedy’s most experienced and well-travelled performers.
In demand all over the UK and abroad, Markus is a veteran of the Edinburgh Fringe with many solo shows to his credit and headliner status at all the top clubs.
He’s performed at the Melbourne, Adelaide, and Perth Comedy Festivals and was nominated by the New Zealand Comedy Guild for Best International Guest.
His international gig list would give Michael Palin a run for his money, with shows in Singapore, The Netherlands, Qatar, Bahrain, Austria, Spain, France, Norway, Sweden, Singapore, Switzerland, Finland, Cyprus and India to name a few.
Flamboyantly repressed and optimistically cynical, Andrew White is a stand-up fast rising through the comedy ranks with an act that’s “not to be missed” (Daily Record).
Andrew performs all over the country at various clubs, festivals, and corporate events throughout the year. Most notably, he’s performed four successful shows at the famous Edinburgh Fringe, and is frsh and on form from his latest run across the border.
RESIDENT TOM GLOVER
Originally from Bridport, Tom Glover has been hosting and performing at comedy nights in the south west since 2011. As well as being the resident compere at the Lyme Regis Comedy Club, Tom is also a regular host at the Weymouth Pavilion, Blandford Corn Exchange, Teignmouth Pavilions, and the Jurassic Fields Festival. His solo show A Glover Not A Fighter had a month long run at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
