HEADLINER: STUART GOLDSMITH

Stuart’s stand-up career has seen him win several awards, including the Leicester Comedy Award for Best Show on two occasions, and take ten solo stand-up shows to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe to date. He has performed at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, the New Zealand International Comedy Festival and made multiple appearances at the prestigious, invitation-only festivals Just For Laughs in Montreal and SXSW in Texas. Stuart specialises in performing stand up relating to the climate crisis. His 2023 solo stand up show Spoilers won the prestigious Best Show 2023 at Leicester Comedy Festival and was one of the best-reviewed shows at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2023. The Times praised Stuart’s “excellence” and his “intelligent, well-crafted act” whilst The List said: “he’s especially, piercingly funny on the hypocrisies we all indulge in.”

His TV credits include BBC’s Live At The Apollo, Russell Howard’s Stand Up Central, and Conan, hosted by comedy icon Conan O’Brien.

In 2003 Anna replied to an advert for new comedians. She had no material and had never done a stand up set. Her third ever gig saw her come second in the Funny Women awards. She reached the Edinburgh Fringe final of So you think you’re funny? with her fifth gig, compered by Bill Bailey. Her sixth gig was in Torquay on a Wednesday night. A finalist at the Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year Awards, the winner of the Riviera Comedian of the Year Awards, and, importantly (!), winner of the BBC’s Weakest Link, Anna is comic who is not to be missed.

Eva Bindeman is a North East Comic quickly becoming a South West Legend. Bringing a warm sense of humour with a twist of the unexpected, you never know what is coming next except that it will be funny. Always honest, occasionally crude and only banned from one national televised talent show. Recently seen on BBC 1, BBC 3, and heard on any local radio station that will have her – this is a performer to catch now.

Accolades include: Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year 2024, Funny Women semi finalist and “One To Watch”, and BBC New Act Semi Finalist 2022.
