Join vocalist Emma Sanders with pianist Philip Clouts as she gives a sparkling rendition of songs made famous by the likes of Billie Holiday, Peggy Lee, Louis Armstrong and Fats Waller.

Emma has been a musician since the age of ten, singing and also playing trumpet and cornet. Growing up, she performed with various ensembles, including brass bands, orchestras, big bands and vocal groups. At the age of 21, she joined the Army as a Musician, performing both as a vocalist and a trumpeter at many events including a Buckingham Palace Garden Party, the Highland Military Tattoo and performances with the Army Big Band.

Since leaving the Army in 2017, due to injury, she has spent her time focusing on her career as a vocalist. She sings with the Arcadia Jazz Band and is in demand as front person for groups throughout the South West.

Emma is a great fan of vintage chic, and she charms with songs from the Golden Age of Jazz such as Ain’t Misbehavin’, Fly Me to the Moon, All of Me, and Pennies From Heaven.
