Elles Bailey’s rise to prominence on the UK blues and Americana scene is nothing short of phenomenal. And all achieved as a genuinely independent artist without the clout of a major record label.
She enjoyed success with her albums, Wildfire and Road I Call Home, for which she won UK Blues Album of the Year. Then she unveiled her eagerly-awaited third album ‘Shining in the Half Light’ in 2022. Crammed with vibrant originals, the album went to #1 in the Official Blues charts on release. To add to her trophy collection she also won Artist and Live Act of the Year at the prestigious UK Americana Awards 2023.
This self-confessed ‘rolling stone’ does everything she can to call the road her home. She’s headlined festival slots across the length and breadth of the UK and into Europe. She even took to the high seas to play the “Joe Bonamassa – Keeping the Blues Alive at Sea Cruise”. And opened for blues legend Walter Trout. As well as joining Don McLean on his 50th anniversary American Pie UK tour.
