He’s no slouch when it comes to recording. His solo releases include Small Town Thinking, Take Your Time and Sink or Swim. And recently, Live at Crescent Records, featuring his full band.
With his new band, he’s a guitar-sliding force, captivating audiences wherever he plays. He’s a young bluesman with an old soul now gaining the national recognition he deserves.

Motown legend Martha Reeves referred to Joanna Cooke, as “that baby girl singing the blues”. She crosses musical, boundaries to blend blues, soul and jazz.
She’s played prestigious UK venues like the Jazz Cafe in London. And supported Tom Jones, Rag’n’Bone Man, Martha Reeves, Paloma Faith, Jess Glynne, Matt Johnson and Mamas Gun.
Her recent EP, “Kaleidoscope,” produced by Mark Edwards, reached the UK Soul Music Charts Top 30. Joanna’s fearless approach has also brought success in the international dance music scene. In 2023, her collaboration with Maur was “hottest track of the week” on BBC Radio 1’s Dance Anthems. And her latest single “All for You” featured on Radio 1 and Spotify playlists.
Joanna is now focused on developing her band. We’re thrilled to welcome her and her new band back to her hometown of Lyme Regis. She will dazzle all with her dynamic stage presence and incredible talent.
