The fireworks will be on stage as Maggie Reeday applies her impeccable vocal style to the songs by George Gershwin, Cole Porter, Irving Berlin and other renowned composers, which have become known as the ‘Great American Songbook.’
Maggie is one of the country’s finest vocalists, and has worked in both television and radio over the years, also with some of the greatest international jazz musicians. She has an engaging style with the audience, and a wonderful sense of fun.
With Philip Clouts at the piano, Valere Speranza on double bass and Gary Evans on drums, this will be a special night-expect to hear many favourites including How High the Moon and The Lady is a Tramp.
“Ms Reeday has all the ingredients that a jazz singer requires; good intonation, and a powerful voice with plenty in reserve if necessary.” Jazz Journal International
