Award winning company The Outbound Project in collaboration with Marine Theatre brings you an impossible story, a true story. Exploring the concept of genius, loneliness and the American Dream, 12 Million Volts tells the story of arguably one of the world’s greatest inventors, Nikola Tesla, a man who wanted to help the world. 1884, Telsa leaves a fascinating childhood and arrives in the USA. From Thomas Edison to the Tesla coil and… pigeons? The Outbound Project invite you into the mind of a genius. Winners of the Les Enfants Terribles Partnership award in association with Greenwich Theatre and Graduate Emerging Artists with the New Diorama, The Outbound Project use highly imaginative visual theatre, movement and physical theatre techniques to tell dynamic stories about the human condition.
