Acid Jazz legend plays in Lyme
For a quarter of a century, the James Taylor Quartet have set the standard for the coolest sounds in funky acid jazz. On dozens of mighty albums and at their legendary gigs at home and around the world, they’ve quietly become a byword for distinguished British creativity. The legendary jazz-funk band is driven by Taylor’s trademark Hammond organ and the band’s relentless rhythms. With dozens of successful albums to their credit, they’re best appreciated live – upbeat funk music to get the room shaking.
This is part of Jazz Jurassica, Lyme’s festival of jazz.
