Over 25 over 50’s shake rattled and rolled to the sound of Elvis and numerous other great singers as they did some exercise to music at the Marine Theatre. Keeping fit really can be fun and what other  venue can offer such a great view of the sea as you tone up those muscles and think of the long and hazy days of summer which are on their way .Men and women of all abilities enjoyed a great hour under the instruction of Nicky Harwood. Participant Sybil Fry said ‘There was a great mix of exercise and I loved doing some exercises to the beat of the music. I really enjoyed it and it was great to see so many people here’

‘A touch of Latin America in Lyme Regis’ said Brian Chambers as he and his wife learnt some moves to the Rumba. The class was led by Glenn and Veronica who guided both couples and single people through a variety of  ballroom  steps. All nerves soon disappeared as people warmed to the friendly atmosphere and soon everybody was helping each other.

Fun and Fitness 9.30 – 10.30 and ballroom 10.30-11.30 will continue to run at the Marine Theatre for the next 11 weeks. Classes are £3 each week. If you would like to join either or both classes please ring Emmy  01297 442394
