The award-winning soloists, Anne Allen and Sarah Freestone formed the Ancora Duo in 2008. 

Anne has been a regular performer at the Marine Theatre for several years and always delights audiences with her fabulous sound and attractive personality.  In an evening of popular arrangements she brings with her Sarah Freestone whose experience ranges from folk clubs to touring with Alison Moyet.  She is a compelling performer with ‘an adroit feeling for tone colour and dynamic variation’
