The Trio Sonata was the most popular instrumental genre of the time, eagerly consumed throughout Europe by both the court and amateurs.  This programme showcases some of the astonishing works of the Italian masters from the 17th and 18th centuries - Vivaldi, Tartini, Campioni, Corelli and Merula.

The Little Baroque Company is a multi-national ensemble, with players from Hungary, Holland and Australia, all dedicated to performing on period instruments.
