“That’ll be the Day” for “Peggy Sue” in her “Chantilly Lace.”  She’ll “Rave On” because “It’s so easy”. If you can make another sentence from Buddy Holly hits, have a go!

The songs are the songs we can all tap our toes and click our fingers too as Buddy Holly wrote songs for everyone. At the Marine Theatre on Saturday August 25th the Bank Holiday will be one to remember. Marc Robinson, currently attracting rave reviews in “In Dreams,” will be singing the Buddy Holly hits. The band, playing tribute to the Crickets, are a tight combo who drive these memorable rhythms so that you’d think you were back in Memphis.

Marc Robinson not only looks like Buddy Holly but he sounds like the 'brown-eyed handsome man as well. Close your eyes at a concert and you will think you are listening to the master himself.

Marc has been amazing audiences around the world for some years now including a performance at Paul McCartney’s  annual Buddy Holly Week celebrations and an appearance at Sir Cliff Richards Birthday party, receiving praise from both of these masters of Pop Music.

In recent years Marc has been 'On The Road' with both his own theatre show and the show ‘Rockin’ On Heaven’s Door’. He now co-stars in the new production of 'In Dreams'.

Another part of the evenings entertainment will be a set by Michael King and the show will also feature Weymouth’s own Mr Rock and Roll, Bob Mallett. Tickets are available from the box office 01297 442138 and cost £12.00 in advance, £14.00 on the door. The show starts at 8.30 and the bar opens at 7.45.
